What a wonderful relaxing time my daughter and i had at this very pleasant site. Straight away we were made to feel very welcome nothing seemed too much trouble. Very well maintained grass areas throughout. Toilet and showers almost 5☆ hotel standard. Lovely people, lovely site and great holiday. Thanks. We will be coming again.....Tim and Kerry (12)
Great camping site. Electric and non electric pitches are situated at the top of the park. Toilets big and clean. The only negative is the caravans parked here for the season, most of them look like they don't ever move and are a bit tatty. Situated 5 minutes from the A38 which is great for going south or North.

A lovely area with outstanding views but I can't help preferring it as it used to be before the big car parks were built and everything was regimented. The unisex toilets were filthy and bikes do not keep to the walking only paths which is a total pain when you're with a dog that's scared of bikes. A good attempt by the forestry commission to make the countryside more accessible...it comes down to a lack of respect for others by the humans using this amenity.
A good kid friendly trail with some good views. Good for dog walking. If you don't have change you can pay for parking at the Ranger's office which is well sign posted. There are on and off track walks that people can do in this area. Remember to be polite to anyone cycling, particularly if you have dogs or children with you. The interactive Gruffalo hunt was very fun for the kids with many photo opportunities available with digital characters. There's also a carved wooden Gruffalo at the end if you keep you eyes peeled!

Lovely daily express readers, great scrabble players, but the pig ate my cigarette.
